Anglican1000 is the church-planting effort launched by the Anglican Church of North America. The goal is to launch 1,000 new Anglican congregations in the United States and Canada over the next 5 years.
The site includes news, articles, events, videos, and a "Realtime" section that integrates live Twitter and video feeds. This allows the organization to provide, at a very low cost and with extreme flexibility, a video stream of live events and simultaneous Twitter participation by viewers anywhere on earth, through the use of a Twitter hashtag and live screen refresh using jQuery.
